Flexi schooling is using a school part time, and appears at least anecdotally to be growing in popularity, given that a year ago I ony knew one family doing it, and now we're doing it, and I know another family who are as well. More importantly, that second family are using a state school, which is rather more difficult to arrange as few headteachers have encountered the option previously, and tend to be concerned about how a flexi-schooled child will affect the school's results.
